Start Your Morning at the Antelope Valley Rural Museum

Plan to arrive around 10 a.m. and allow approximately 90 minutes for your visit.

Located at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, the museum preserves the region’s rural history through artifacts, historical information and community exhibits. Its agricultural collections connect visitors with the Antelope Valley Fair and Alfalfa Festival Rural Olympics. The Rural Olympics Hall of Fame and Community Queens exhibits offer a closer look at traditions that helped shape local identity.

Admission is free. The museum’s regular hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first and third Saturdays of each month, with some holiday exceptions. Visits may also be requested by appointment.
